Krys Kornmeier – “Normal Isn’t Real”
The Center for Nuerodiversity hosted filmmaker Krys Kornmeier for two screenings of her documentary, Normal Isn’t Real: Succeeding with Learning Disabilities and ADHD. The Wednesday, October 17 screening was open to the public and included a reception before the film and a panel discussion afterwards moderated by Center for Neurodiversity director Solvegi Shmulsky, during which Kornmeier was joined by Landmark College students Anais Sidonia and Max Cornell, and Associate Professor of Natural Science Kimberly Coleman. The next day, area schools were invited to campus for a private screening and conversation with Ms. Kornmeier.
