Optional Activity: Sunday Walk from Little Venice to Camden Town Market

Today, a few of us ventured out to Camden Market via a path along the Regent's canal. Although I have walked this path many times from Regent's Park, this was the first time I had completed the entire walk from Little Venice, which is two miles from Camden Town, winding its way through Regent's Park past the London Zoo, and ending at Camden lock. Although the weather forecast indicated there would be showers, we had no idea about the extent of these until we were about half way through the walk. At this point a few members of our group, some of whom realized they did not have the right waterproof gear for the occasion, decided to return to the hotel. The rest of us ventured on to Camden Town where we explored the markets and purchased a few souvenirs before returning to our hotel in Bayswater via the Chalk Farm Tube station just up the road from Camden.
