A Whirlwind of a Weekend!
Our weekend began with a trip to the British Museum to see artifacts from Roman Britain. On Friday night, some of us got half price tickets to see a show.
On Saturday, Jack got a beautiful pair of binoculars circa 1941 at the Portobello Road Market. Dan won a chili eating contest at a local establishment and some of us visited more museums and the Harrod’s food mart.
On Sunday some of us went to Bath for a day trip. We sure squeezed in a lot of culture and activities.
Sunday night ended with Dan and Denise offering academic support for students who were completing assignments.
