You did not have to be on campus to show your Homecoming spirit!
HOMECOMING @ HOME: September 24 – 27, 2020
We never imagined we would have a Landmark College Homecoming weekend like this. It warmed our hearts to see so many of you choose to celebrate Homecoming @ Home with your Landmark family and experience a tradition in a new way.
The 35th Anniversary of the College and our ’0 and ’5 class reunion made the event extra special. It felt like our “alumni pioneers” from the earlier years also enjoyed the opportunity to connect with the Landmark College of today, and learn how closely the mission has stayed the same and that we are all woven into the same blue, white and gold tapestry.
Throughout the week we saw alumni, students, family members, and even a few pets make their way on the screen to meet each other and form genuine connections. One of the biggest highlights was seeing Sharks join us from Vermont to Hong Kong! We hope that you had a great time and that we get to connect soon.
Please stay in touch through the Landmark College Facebook or LinkedIn page or by dropping us a line here in the Office of Alumni Relations.
Thank you for keeping Landmark College in your hearts and minds … and go Sharks!

Prerecorded TEDx and a live artist interview with alumna Lida Winfield ’00
Landmark College alumna Lida Winfield ’00 is joined by retired art professor Virginia Scholl and Associate Director of Alumni Relations Tricia Stanley for a conversation during Homecoming @ Home 2020. Vice President for Marketing and Communications Mark DiPietro moderates.
Lida Winfield is an innovative and accomplished dancer, choreographer, spoken word artist, and educator. Her artistic practice is inextricably linked to her role as an educator. Lida is dedicated to using the performing arts to move herself and others forward intellectually, developmentally, socially, and spiritually. Over the last decade, using her show In Search of Air: Growing up Dyslexic as a critical platform, Lida has taught educators how to use movement in the classroom as an instructional tool. She is an innovative leader in kinesthetic learning and emotional intelligence. Lida graduated from Landmark College in 2000. Lida learned to read at LC in her early 20s. This has deeply impacted how she approaches teaching and learning. As a performer and teaching artist, Lida travels the country as a keynote presenter/performer addressing issues of education, disability, access, cognitive diversity, and the power of the arts. Her work reaches diverse populations in traditional and non-traditional settings, challenging who dances, who dance is for, and the impact that dance can have on learning and education. Lida is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Dance Program at Middlebury College. For more information on Lida, please check out www.lidawinfield.com
