Leaves—

flat, wide, broad, very small, bright green color

Twigs—

very long and thin, brown color

Flowers—

yellow-white flowers

Fruit—

small brown round nuts

Bark—

smooth texture and brown color

Natural History:

Lifespan—

The average lifespan is short, usually about 20 years.

General description—

Its alternative name is Caucasian Linden, and this tree is actually a cross between Tilia Cordata and Tilia Clasystyia. These trees can be easily transplanted and can tolerate growing in difficult conditions.

Natural distribution and habitat—

Native to the northern hemisphere.

Conservation status—

They typically have a shorter lifespan in urban areas due to higher stress factors.

Uses—

Bees use the flowers to make nectar, the flowers can also be used to make tea. The wood of this tree can be used to make a variety of wooden items. They can also be used as shade trees in urban locations.
