Facilities Maintenance Technician

Landmark College has an immediate second shift opening for a Facilities Maintenance Technician (3 – 11 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday) reporting to the Director of Facilities Operations.

This position provides general day-to-day campus-wide maintenance, including building systems’ testing, construction/upgrade/renovation projects, general repairs, some custodial duties as needed, and snow removal. Requires knowledge of general plumbing/electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repair, ability to perform basic carpentry, painting, welding, cutting and brazing, vehicle and equipment repair, and the ability to lift heavy furniture and other supplies or equipment.

Mechanical certifications and formal training or licenses in plumbing, electrical, diagnostics, or similar trades is highly desirable. Candidates must have a solid work history, dependability, and be a conscientious team player. The position requires a valid driver’s license and a home telephone.
