Assistant Director for West Coast Admissions

We are seeking a full-time Assistant Director for West Coast Admissions for our West Coast Operations. Working as part of the enrollment management team, the Assistant Director for West Coast Admissions will be responsible for traveling throughout California, Oregon, and Washington for purposes of student identification, recruitment, and enrollment to support LC programs including: full-time residential on campus in Vermont; online (with an emphasis on west coast presence); and short-term summer on the west coast.

Working under the supervision of Director of Admissions, this position will serve as primary contact for west coast-based students, parents, high school guidance counselors, educational consultants, and educators. This position will identify and qualify leads, conduct off-campus meetings, and coordinate area conversion events. This position involves significant year-round travel and tele-counseling activities.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. Significant experience in education industry admissions and/or sales is required, as is residency within the Bay Area, CA region. Bi-lingual fluency in Spanish is preferred. Superior communication and organizational skills are necessary. The ability to work independently and also collaboratively in a professional and confidential manner is critical. An understanding of and commitment to the issues of learning disabilities and learning difficulties such as dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD are highly desirable.
