Ellen Smith joined Landmark College in 2014 with 15 years of experience in the field of institutional advancement, most recently at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital (BMH), where she led the development division. While at BMH, Smith launched and successfully completed two capital campaigns and exceeded the Hospital’s Annual Fund goals. In addition to her role at BMH, Smith has served as an adjunct faculty member at the School for International Training (SIT) and serves community organizations including Holton Home, Morningside Shelter, and the Brattleboro Sunrise Rotary. Before her career in institutional development, Smith served as a guidance counselor and psychotherapist working with adolescents and adults in Keene, N.H.
