Colleges & Universities Attended by LMC Graduates There are several important advantages that accrue to students who complete the Associate's degree at Landmark.Research tells us that between 75% and 80% of students who earn the AA degree go on to complete the bachelor's degree at another college. The short of it is that you will be more likely to finish an undergraduate degree if you complete the AA. You also become a more attractive candidate in the admission pool at the "next"college or university. Students who finish the AA degree at Landmark are usually considered as having completed all the general education requirements at the next college or university. This means they are more likely to begin serious upperdivision work in a specific major. Finishing the program at Landmark also makes several important statements about the individual student: s/he is able to do serious work, to complete a full program of study and to demonstrate competence in a number of academic areas. Know also that some more competitive colleges will only consider applicants who complete the two year degree. Additionally, for some students, finishing at Landmark puts earlier academic difficulties (at a prior college or in high school) into perspective. It helps the individual earn acceptance into the college or university of choice. Landmark students who completed the Associate's degree in the spring, summer of 2008 attended the following colleges and universities in the Fall of 2008:
