Assessment is an ongoing process of self-examination through which the College investigates and demonstrates the quality and effectiveness of its programs. It is critical to the effective functioning of the institution, ensuring continuous improvement, adherence to our mission, and progress toward our goals.

Assessment happens at multiple levels and includes activities aimed at measuring institutional, departmental, and course level outcomes.

The assessment of student learning is of primary importance at Landmark College. Clear expectations with regard to student learning are established and then a variety of tools and methods are employed to measure the extent to which our students are meeting those expectations. The resulting information informs our decision making and planning and ultimately improves the way we serve students.

Anyone wishing to conduct a survey or other assessment must work through the Office of Institutional Effectiveness.
