The National Academy for Child Development:
NACD is an organization of parents and professionals that designs specific programs for children and adults with developmental, educational, and neurological problems. The site offers information on NACD's resources and programs, as well as research materials and a selection of articles published by the Journal of National Academy for Child Development.
The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development:
NICHD is part of the National Institutes of Health and supports and conducts research on topics related to the health of children, adults, families, and population. The site makes available to the public at large information related to reducing infant death, learning about growth and development, examining problems of birth defects and mental retardation, as well as research materials.
Child Development Institute — Parent Information:
Founded by Robert Myers, Ph.D, a clinical child psychologist, CDI provides materials for parent education and self-help information for children. It covers topics as child development, child psychology, teenagers, learning disabilities, including ADHD and dyslexia.
National Center for Early Development & Learning:
NCEDL is a national early childhood research project supported by the US Department of Education.
It focuses on enhancing the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children from birth to age eight.
