- Search for the title of the journal in Serials Solutions to see if the full text is available in one of our databases.
- If the full text is not available bring the citation to the front desk of the library. They will get the article from another library.

- Type in a broad topic, add "AND" and an aspect of the subject that interests you.
- Example: pilgrimage AND Mecca
- Choose Academic Journals to eliminate magazine and newspaper articles.
General OneFile
Scholarly articles from journals, magazines, and newspaper reports.
Make sure you click on the Academic Journals tab!!
- Try a Subject Guide Search and use the Subdivisions to narrow your topic.
- Use only one very broad term, Examples: pilgrimages, travelers, or voyages and travelers.
- Add another term in the Search box on the left side of the screen to narrow your results.
