| Both plant and animal cells contain
a nucleus, where the DNA resides. The structure of the nucleus
includes a nuclear envelope surrounding chromatin with openings called pores
that allow substances to get in and out of the nucleus. The function
is to control cellular reproduction and production of all cell proteins
and products of the nucleus. The nucleolus resides within the nucleus and is where the material for making ribosomes is stored. Its structure is composed of a darker body visible in the nucleus, its function is to provide material for creating ribosomes. |

| Question: Besides the nucleolus, what other material is inside the nucleus? | ||||
