The Expanding Horizons Institute on Learning Disabilities which attracts secondary and post-secondary educators, administrators and support staff from all over Houston, Texas and as far away as Florida and Kentucky, highlighted the third annual collaboration of Lone Star College System with Landmark College.
This program offered full-day workshops for educators, administrators, and students and covers a wide variety of topics such as Supporting Reading Comprehension and Study Skills, Writing, to Fostering Metacognition and Self-Regulation. Each hands-on session provides examples of best practices that support students with learning differences, including learning disabilities and ADHD.
