Meal Plans for Students

The Unlimited Plan - $2300

This meal plan offers students the greatest value and dining opportunity as you can enjoy ALL meals offered on campus in the Middle Dining Hall. Students may enter the dining hall only once per meal period. This plan is available for all students. Unused meals are not refunded, can not be transferred and can not be carried forward.

The 220 Meal Plan - $2200

This plan is designed for students who want to eat an average of two meals a day on campus in the Middle Dining Hall and get $175 in Shark Bite Points to spend at designated food venues on campus. Shark Bite points expire on May 19, 2013. This plan is available to all students.

The 150 Meal Plan - $1650

This plan allows students to enjoy 150 meals (approx. 10 meals per week) for the semester in the Middle Dining Hall.  This plan is available to all students who live in Bridges, Chumley or off campus.

The Retail Plan - $1600

This plan allows students in Bridges, Chumley, and students living off campus to use a declining-balance account to purchase food items or meals at the Middle Dining Hall, the Fireside Café, or the College Bookstore. Students receive 1600 Shark Bite Points. Each point has a value of $1.00. Shark Bite Points expire May19, 2013.

The Variety Plan - $2200

This plan has a little bit of everything. It offers the student 150 meals for the semester at the Middle Dining Hall, plus 250 Shark Bite Points to be used at either the Fireside Café, the College Bookstore, or the Middle Dining Hall, plus 250 Landmark Points which can be used at the Putney Co-op, Putney Pizza, J.D. McCliment's restaurant, Mountain Paul’s General Store, the Putney General Store, Domino’s Pizza in Brattleboro, Shear Madness Hair Salon and Barber, the Putney Diner, the College Bookstore, the Fireside Café, the Middle Dining Hall, and in beverage and candy vending machines on campus. This plan is available to all students. Please note the Shark Bite Points expire on May 19, 2013.

Changing Plans

All students begin the semester on the Unlimited Meal Plan and have until 4 p.m. on February 11, 2013 to change to a different plan by submitting a Meal Plan Change Form to the Office of Student Affaris. Only ONE change is permitted per semester.

Unused Points

Please note:

  • Unused Landmark Points automatically roll to the next semester or will be refunded if the student is not returning.
  • Unused Shark Bite Points expire May19, 2013.
