The Landmark Difference: A Note from the Director of Admissions

First let me thank you for looking at Landmark College.  As an adult with learning difficulties, I believe Landmark College is truly unique.  It is a community that not only understands and respects my learning style, but, a community of people who really "get it."

In my experience on the faculty and as the Director of Admissions, it is amazing that I don't have to explain myself; don't have to apologize for myself. In my more than thirty years of being diagnosed as dyslexic and hyperactive, Landmark College is the first place where those of us who learn differently are the majority.

Yes, we have more one-on-one attention, with the lowest student to faculty ratio of any college in the world.

Yes, all of our faculty are experienced experts in the field of learning difficulties; many of them have a personal connection to the field.

Yes, we integrate cutting-edge technology into our learning strategies.

Most colleges and universities actively recruit students who learn differently; these students are often the most intelligent, creative and engaged members of any higher education community.  Students who learn differently can thrive at any college or university, but none compare to the comprehensive mission and curriculum found at Landmark College.  Since our founding in 1985, Landmark College has been a community dedicated to the belief that our students are some of the finest in any institution of higher education anywhere in the world.
