Mission Statement

The Office of Transfer and Career Services provides resources for students and recent graduates to manage their next steps beyond Landmark College. The Office provides a welcoming space for self-exploration and development of independent skills needed to pursue careers, internships, and future academic programs. As an integral part of the Landmark College community, the Office collaborates across campus departments and with potential employers, internship sites, and other academic institutions for the purpose of facilitating student success.

Specific Services and Resources Provided

Students can access support from Transfer and Career Services through individual appointments, group workshops, open lab times, and campus events.

Career and Major Exploration

We can help students develop skills to:

  • Assess career and major interests through personalized assessments
  • Explore career and academic pathways
  • Develop a résumé and cover letter
  • Identify employment opportunities and organize a job search
  • Prepare for job interviews and networking events
  • Identify and prepare for internship and volunteer opportunities
  • Navigate disclosure issues in the workplace

Transfer Advising

We can help students develop skills to:

  • Conduct and organize a college search
  • Research admission requirements, support services, and other important criteria
  • Complete the transfer application process and collect supporting materials
  • Write a college essay
  • Prepare for a college visit and interview
  • Connect with an admissions representative at the next college
