Landmark College is teaming up with Winston Preparatory School!
The workshop is all about preparation—through practice and exposure—for that crucial first semester of college.
The Transition Workshop is a nine-day non-residential program for college-bound high school graduates and rising seniors. This workshop, which will take place at Winston Preparatory School in New York City, will help students prepare for the challenges they will face in a college setting by allowing them to experience some of those challenges in a safe, supportive environment. Additional evening and afternoon workshops will be available for parents of enrolled students in the Workshop, including a mock college application review with college admission representatives and a session on How To Support Your Student in the Transition to College.
Do You Know a College-Bound Current Junior or Senior who:
• Would benefit from a sneak peek at a college curriculum and expectations?
• May struggle with the increased demands of college courses?
• Is worried he/she may not “make it” at college?
• Has parents who are concerned about the challenges of “life away from home” without the structure and support currently in place?
June 27 - July 8, 2016 (program does not meet on July 4, 2016)
