Sandy has a M.A.T., ESL, from St. Michael’s College, a B.A. from Hood College, and is a certified Wilson Reading trainer. She has worked at Landmark College for 15 years in various academic capacities: as a Manager and Coordinator of Academic Support, a DCAS faculty support person, an instructor of First-Year and Reading and Study Skills classes, a Wilson Reading trainer, an Academic Advisor and an Academic Tutor.
The DCAS Faculty
The DCAS faculty is primarily comprised of experienced Landmark College faculty from the English, Humanities, Communications, Social Science and Academic Advising departments. The DCAS faculty are experienced in two key ways that enable them to work very effectively with students who learn differently:
- They are trained in their respective academic disciplines to work one-on-one with students.
- They are trained and experienced in working with students who learn differently.
