Does Landmark have a Physical Education requirement?
All PE courses are electives. However, students with learning differences recognize the benefits of exercise in the context of academic success.
May a student major in Physical Education at Landmark?
Students may take as many PE courses as they wish, but there is no degree program in Physical Education.
How many students take a Physical Education course in any given semester?
Approximately 50% of all students take a PE course or participate on one of the sports teams each semester.
Is there a standard Physical Education course at Landmark?
There is a wide variety of options in the approximately 20 PE courses offered each term. Some are exercise-based, while others stress reflection or the acquisition of skills.
