Support in the English Department
Faculty Office Hours
Each faculty member establishes weekly office hours, and many faculty are also available to meet with students by appointment.
Research Support
The Landmark College Library is available for both walk-in support and appointments with librarians for help in completing research for a English project.
Homework Completion Support
The Drake Center for Academic Support (DCAS) offers one-on-one appointments with College faculty to assist with project completion.
Writing Lab
The Writing Lab is a twice-a-week drop-in center for students seeking support to:
- get started on papers
- warm-up for drafting
- work on production issues
- work on organization of papers
- learn more about generating strategies
- learn more about their own writing processes
The Writing Lab is staffed by English Department faculty.
