Steps to Get Your Notebook Computer

Fill out this form. Order by 8/16/10 to have your computer at the student Technology Orientation on 8/29/10.
The last day to order is 9/30/10.
Landmark's Tech Support Services will confirm your order with you by phone or email.
We will order the notebook computer and load the software.
The cost of the notebook package will be charged to your tuition account.
Payment can be made by check or online as with tuition and other fees.
The student will receive the computer during Technology Orientation on campus on 8/29/10, if you order by 8/16/10.

Not purchasing a computer from Landmark? Please tell us about the notebook you will bring. This information will be used by the Help Desk to provide support for your machine when you arrive on campus. Please note that if you bring your own computer you are still required to have installed the software listed on the minimum specifications page.

Dictation and Text Reader Software

Incoming Language Intensive Curriculum (LIC) and Partial Credit program students are required to have Dragon Naturally Speaking (dictation) and Kurzweil Professional (text reader) software installed.

If you are in the LIC or Partial Credit Programs, check here to indicate that you understand that Kurzweil 3000 Color Professional and Dragon Naturally Speaking will be installed on your laptop at a cost of $352.00.

Students in the Credit program and Credit Executive Function program will have the option choose one of the two text readers (Kurzweil Professional Color or Texthelp Read Write Gold) after attending a training workshop on campus. You will have a 30-day free trial of each. If you choose to add a text reader after that time, your account would be charged then. The fee for either selection will be $227.00.

[Optional for students in Credit or Credit Executive Function programs:] Include the optional Dragon Naturally Speaking (dictation software) with headset: $125.00
