Landmark College believes that access to electronic tools is crucial to the learning experience in and out of the classroom. The College provides many online tool to enhance the student's education.
Email
All students receive Landmark College e-mail accounts at orientation. College correspondence sent via e-mail are sent to these accounts.
The College uses the Novell Groupwise e-mail and collaboration system. Public computers on campus are equipped with Groupwise software as are all student notebooks. The e-mail system is also accessible from the web from off-campus via Groupwise WebAccess.
Intranet
The Intranet provides access to the College’s student-based on-line resources and systems. The Intranet is portal-based and remembers password information. Students receive login information and instruction during orientation.
The Intranet is a valuable source of information for announcements of campus events, descriptions of support services, forms, as well as access to student and faculty directories and academic support systems.
IQWeb
IQWeb enables students to access the College’s course catalog, their current course schedule, mid-term and final grades, and unofficial transcripts.
ISIS
The Internet Student Information System, or ISIS, is used by students, instructors, advisors, and deans to track students’ academic progress on an on-going basis. ISIS includes information on grades, assignments, attendance, instructor comments, support center visits, and more.
Online Course Tools
Landmark College uses on-line learning management systems to supplement classroom teaching in many courses. Through these systems, students have anywhere-anytime access to the course and reference materials, assignments, course-specific discussion boards, chats, and more. The College currently uses two systems: WebCT and Moodle.
