Director of Judicial Affairs
The Director of Judicial Affairs serves as the primary hearing officer for the College, and is responsible for managing the disciplinary and conduct process, promoting and maintaining student’s rights and responsibilities and upholding behavioral expectations and community standards. The Director will also be responsible for developing and implementing informal resolution and mediation procedures. The Director reports to the Dean of Students, who serves as the Chief Judicial Officer for the College. This is a 12 month, full time position.
Responsibilities of the position include: Review all incident reports submitted to the Dean's Office to determine appropriate action. Meet with students who have allegedly violated the student code of conduct to ascertain their levels of involvement. Adjudicate cases and assign educational sanctions as appropriate. Maintain files on all disciplinary cases and informational incident reports and track all sanctions & sanction compliance. Chair the College Conduct Board. Develop and manage community service programs and student participation related to disciplinary sanctions. Collaborate with other campus offices to develop and present educational seminars each semester regarding student expectations and academic integrity for members of community, new student orientation, and other groups as necessary. Remain up to date on legal issues in higher education and their relevance to campus judicial practices.
Qualifications: Master's degree preferred, BA required with record of increasing responsibility in the management of college policy adjudication. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Understanding of legal issues in higher education. Strong commitment to confidentiality
Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Relations
This is a unique opportunity to create and expand relationship programs with the College and its Institute of Research and Training. This high profile position will report to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and will direct and manage all aspects of the College’s Annual Giving and Alumni Relations programs. The Director of Annual Giving & Alumni Affairs will leverage alumni relations efforts into increased volunteer and financial support for Landmark College that will be key to helping the College achieve its mission.
Additional responsibilities include:
1. Formulates, implements, and oversees alumni relations programs designed to inform and engage alumni, and to strengthen alumni relationship networks.
2. Designs and directs Landmark’s Annual Giving program for alumni, parents, faculty, and friends of the College.
3. Collaborates with Landmark College leadership to identify funding needs, set goals, develop targeted strategies, and implement effective programs.
4. Represents the College to various constituent and community groups.
5. Continually assesses the effectiveness of strategies to determine whether they are achieving the desired results.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent directly related work experience plus a minimum of 4-6 years directly related experience. Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated success leading alumni relations and annual giving functions.
Associate Director of Financial Aid
We are seeking a creative, flexible, team-oriented individual to perform a variety of financial aid responsibilities including overseeing the Federal Work Study and Student Loan Programs. The successful candidate will counsel parents and students regarding Financial Aid programs and application procedures, including the review, calculation, and processing of financial aid packages.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have at least a BA/BS degree, at least 1-2 years of experience in a college or university financial aid office, as well as excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. A history of progressive work experience within a financial aid department is preferable. The ability to work independently, maintain priorities, and work irregular hours during peak periods is necessary.
