OPEN POSITIONS:
ACADEMIC DEAN
The Academic Dean is responsible for those aspects of the academic programs and services of Landmark College relating to curriculum and the requirements of the degree programs, including managing academic operations and the development and administration of academic policies and regulations. The Dean develops, implements, and adheres to an annual academic budget. The Dean provides strong leadership and direction to the academic department chairs, students, academic staff, and the faculty as a whole, working collaboratively with senior administration, faculty, and staff to shape a vision for the College within the mission and strategic plan of Landmark College. The Dean promotes an environment supportive of teaching excellence and facilitates the development, review, and revision of academic curricula, assuring quality and relevancy, playing a leadership role in defining and promoting effective instructional practices for students with learning differences. The Dean provides leadership and direction for faculty in the process of applying for promotion and reappointment.
QUALIFICATIONS:include an earned Doctorate in a relevant discipline and a progressive record of accomplishment in teaching and educational administration. Demonstrated experience in using the best principles and practices in higher education, particularly in the areas of curriculum and education program development, assessment, and implementation is needed. Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, ability to facilitate and lead group processes and to make professional presentations to different audiences is required. Strong leadership and managerial skills are necessary, as is demonstrated creative accomplishment in the area of academic program development and administration. Candidates with experience in research and grant development preferred. Must possess or develop a familiarity with the challenges facing students with learning disabilities and AD/HD.

ASSISTANT DEAN OF STUDENTS
The Assistant Dean of Students reports to the Dean of Students and is responsible for developing and carrying out a comprehensive program of educational opportunities for students that compliment student’s learning goals for the classroom. The Assistant Dean provides supervision and oversight to the Director of Student Activities, the Director of Adventure Education and the Coordinator of Women’s Programming and has specific responsibility for three major components of Student Affairs activity:
- Develop, implement, manage and evaluate a comprehensive New Student Orientation Program for Landmark College students, families and special populations.
- Lead educational programming activities that coordinate out-of-classroom activities with existing classroom goals, bring speakers and artists to campus to support institutional learning objectives, and develop student programming that highlights positive citizenship, healthy lifestyle choices, diversity awareness/respect, women's resource issues, spirituality, and international student/cultural issues.
- Develop and implement residential oversight and campus programming for short-term summer programs in conjunction with the Enrollment Management Office, including the recruitment, selection and training of summer programming staff.
QUALIFICATIONS: Essential qualifications include: A masters degree in Student Life Administration or related field or a bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience; demonstrated experience in developing, planning, and implementing programs, campus activities, and special events in a higher education setting; excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; ability to establish and maintain accurate records and reports and effectively produce, examine, and analyze relevant data; ability to manage multiple priorities; ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours.

LANDMARK COLLEGE INSTITUTE FOR RESEARCH AND TRAINING EDUCATION AND RESEARCH OUTREACH SPECIALIST

The Education and Research Outreach Specialist specializes in both grant development and client-funded service delivery in at least one of the following areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, and/or Computing and is responsible for defining, proposing, and leading applied educational research projects, and developing and delivering evidence-based professional development to educators/clients. Research projects consist of studies to improve educational methods, develop and validate strategies for serving at-risk students and/or those struggling in conventional educational environments, and/or evaluate the effectiveness of technologies (including assistive technologies, social media, and online or hybrid education systems) to improve student learning and engagement. The Specialist will support the VP for Research and Institute Operations in positioning the Institute, developing strategic partnerships and joint ventures, researching market-related opportunities, identifying and managing clients, developing intellectual property, and advancing the Institute's distinctive mission, culture, programs, and services.
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires Master's degree or higher in a field related to science, technology, engineering, mathematics, computing, education, and/or psychology, with at least 2 years of experience in research, instruction, and/or consulting. Doctoral degree preferred, but not required. Experience should include evidence of developing educational programs and interventions, managing education or related data, analyzing complex information using quantitative and qualitative measures, summarizing/synthesizing data to develop findings and recommendations, and communicating client-ready information to professional audiences in written, spoken, and presentation formats. Candidate must have a portfolio that demonstrates evidence of grant proposal and grant budget development, evidence of extramural grant funding, project management, attention to detail, and ability to manage numerous simultaneous projects to completion. Prior experience as an author in a peer-reviewed journal preferred. Must demonstrate outstanding presentation, communication, and project management skills. Requires great attention to detail and ability to manage complex, multifaceted programs and initiatives.
Candidate must be able to develop an extensive understanding of Landmark College's methodology and pedagogy, research and consulting initiatives, as well as other specific service offerings, within a short period of time. Candidate may be located anywhere in the United States. Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time, work as a member of a distributed virtual team, and exhibit flexibility in scheduling beyond nonstandard work hours and days. Experience specifically developing and validating research instruments and surveys a plus, but not required. Direct experience in teaching or client consulting preferred but not required. Actual experience working with clients and students with learning differences a plus.

EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Director of Educational Technologies, this position is responsible for providing educational technology support services primarily to students but also to faculty, staff, and others. The position includes responsibility for support and training on assistive and productivity technologies, consultation and evaluation of educational technologies, and orientation support.
QUALIFICATIONS:Essential qualifications include a B.A. degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of educational technology support and instructional experience preferably in a higher education environment. Expertise in one or more assistive technology applications and tools, particularly Kurzweil, Read & Write Gold, Dragon Naturally Speaking, and/or Inspiration, is essential. Working knowledge of Internet technologies in support of teaching and learning, course and classroom technologies, computers and peripherals, and the Windows operating system is highly desirable. Candidate must have strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a dynamic customer-oriented technology environment. Ability to work flexible and non-traditional hours is also required.
